Sexual education in Kindergarden?! no way!

chicago-public-schools-start-sex-education-kindergarten

Why? why is there a need to start sexual education in kindergarden? First of all, all this will do is speed up the maturing process of these kids, which is ridiculous. Kindergarden is the time where educators should be sculpting their minds to be prepared to endure the long years of education ahead. Of course, at this age they should be experimenting with art and music, but not with sexual education. I also think that this program is a waste of money to be teaching something to kids, that they don't and should not fully understand. The school's reason to start teaching sexual education so early is to increase the graduation rate at this school because it will supposably reduce the amount of teenage  mothers dropping out. I do believe sexual eduaction should be taught early to pupils but maybe in 6th grade, when they are mature enough to understand what is going on and therefore practice what they are being taught. Children at the age of 4 and 5 should not need or have to know about sexual reproduction, and I don't see how parents would even allow such a thing.

In Obama's state of the union adress I really enjoyed how he mentioned actions that I have never even thought of before, as in different approaches to the difficult problems at hand. I agreed with his views on education, tax reform, and how to attack the job situation. One of my favorite things he said was how he believes that there should be more opportunities for people with a highschool diploma and that people who are working a minumum wage job should not be living under the poverty line. The only thing I am worried about is how he is going to get congress to back him up on these things due to the fact that congress is so divided at the moment, but one can only hope.
